Fundamental healthy for the mind and body fit strong
Fundamental healthy for the mind and body fit strong - As the 20th century continues to bombard us with activities to get into our hectic lifestyles, most of us are seeking the most effective simple methods in our quest to be healthy and strong.

And to enjoy life in a healthy and strong body, there are certain basic principles that help establish a solid foundation for a life of health and wellness.

Here are five solid fundamentals that are very reasonable to fight for the way you look on the right track at the beginning of your quest for health. When starting correctly there is a much better chance then enjoy the process of building a healthy body, strong and fit for life.

1) Focus on what you want - a fairly simple concept, but many of us give the power of this concept. In fact, a lot of focus on that "do not want" instead of what we do. Many of our best coaches constantly repeated, "keep your eyes on the goal" or "keep your eye on the ball", etc.

A similar concept plays a key role in their health and their lives, because we focus tends to develop. So keep your eyes on your vision - what you really want? Focus on that.

2) Think long term - Build your body, your strength and fitness for life. This is an attitude that reminds me of the story of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. You want to take the time to build a solid house with solid foundations that usually blow over when the stress comes.

Thinking long-term is a great way to go back and get your mindset to focus on what you want to do, but also what to do for your body and your life at this moment in time.

3) take small steps - You do not have to train like a professional athlete or an Olympic competitor. Shape for Life should not be difficult or intense and not have to start running! Just find some form of movement that you like.

This could be walking, hiking, dancing, Pilates, weightlifting, cycling, swimming, whatever. It does not really matter, as long as you just start moving. Remember, the movement should be fun, so start slowly, take small steps and slow.

After all, the movement is medicine and the human being ceases to exist without it. The best investment you can make is in your car, so start investing daily in small amounts of time to make small no movement. It will change your life forever.

4) Variety is the spice of life - lets face it, when it comes to your training program or a movement, constantly repeating the same mind-numbing enough. As your body adapts and your mind starts to get bored this is the perfect time to brighten up your program with time variety.

It really does not matter what you choose, as long as you find something new that you like, and get to it. A walk, a bike ride or a new class once or twice a month may be enough to keep your body stimulated by the variety and stay on track with your fitness goals.

This simple idea keeps you motivated while keeping your body guessing and stimulated to grow. Perfect.

5) Tune in and listen - One of my mentors Paul Chek say "Your body never lies," and this is very true. Age or what he does or says will not really matter. What is important is to learn to listen to the innate wisdom that your body tells you. Tuning how it feels and responds to this reality is the best way to stay healthy, strong and fit.
